Competent on environmental zoning, but communication was inconsistent

I hired Mr. Prol to assist with a complex zoning issue for a small commercial property that involved potential environmental remediation concerns. His background in environmental law and real estate, as noted in his professional recognitions, was evident. He provided a solid analysis of the regulatory landscape and his dual degree in law and public health was a unique asset. The final outcome was satisfactory. However, the experience was mixed. There were periods where communication was slow, with responses taking several days, which added to our stress during critical phases. While his legal competence is not in question, the overall client service and management of expectations felt just adequate. For straightforward matters, he is knowledgeable, but be prepared to follow up proactively.
