A Master of Construction Law and a Trusted Advisor

Our mid-sized general contracting firm faced a complex, multi-million dollar dispute over project delays and defective work specifications on a public works project in New Jersey. The opposing party was aggressive, and the contractual language was a minefield. We turned to Charles Kenny at Peckar & Abramson, and it was the best decision we could have made. From our first meeting, his 55 years of deep, practical experience in construction contracts and New Jersey legislation was immediately apparent. He didn't just recite the law; he explained the strategic implications of every clause and precedent in the context of our specific industry pressures. His guidance through mediation was masterful—calm, impeccably prepared, and strategically sharp. He secured a settlement that not only protected our financial position but preserved a critical business relationship, which was equally important to us. The recent accolades, like his 'Lawyer of the Year' recognitions in Hackensack, are clearly well-deserved. Charles is more than an attorney; he is a counselor who understands the construction business from the ground up. His professionalism and genuine dedication to achieving the best possible outcome are exceptional. We have absolute confidence in his counsel and will rely on him for all our significant legal matters moving forward.
