Competent in bankruptcy, but communication could improve

I engaged Robert Malone at Gibbons PC to handle a complex commercial debt restructuring for my small business. His knowledge of Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights law is evident, and his recognition by Best Lawyers in that field is well-deserved. He provided a solid legal strategy that ultimately achieved our primary goal. However, the experience was not without its frustrations. While his analysis was sharp, there were often significant delays in receiving responses to emails, and updates were not always proactively communicated. For a matter as stressful as insolvency proceedings, clearer and more consistent communication would have been invaluable. His four years of focused experience in this niche showed in his work product, but the client service aspect felt merely adequate. He is a capable attorney who knows the law, but managing client expectations and timelines is an area for growth.
