A competent veteran attorney, but communication was inconsistent

Mr. Dauber represented our firm in a complex commercial dispute. His deep experience, particularly his recognition in Bet-the-Company Litigation, was evident in his strategic approach to the case. With over 50 years of practice, his knowledge of New Jersey law is undeniable, and he secured an acceptable settlement. However, for a matter that felt all-consuming to us, his communication was sometimes sporadic, and responses could take longer than expected. While his legal acumen from Chiesa Shahinian is top-tier, managing client expectations around availability could be improved. He is a skilled litigator, but the service aspect felt merely adequate.
