Walter Van Valkenburg

Wally Van Valkenburg has represented a number of companies in the health care industry, both in the transactional context and in the litigation context. His work has focused on antitrust, managed care, insurance regulation, and related areas. Wally is past chair of the Oregon State Bar Section on Antitrust, Trade Regulation, and Unfair Business Practices. He has been a frequent speaker on antitrust compliance, including antitrust in the healthcare industry. Wally received his LL.M from Columbia University School of law (1984); J.D. summa cum laude from Willamette University College of Law, where he was Editor in Chief of the Willamette Law Journal (1978); and B.A. cum laude from the University of Washington (1975).
