Capable but Communications Could Improve

I hired Scott Talkov to handle a complex real estate dispute involving a commercial property lease. His knowledge of California real estate law was evident, and he clearly understood the nuances of my case. Scott's background in business and bankruptcy litigation also proved valuable when negotiating with the opposing party. However, I found his communication style somewhat formal, and there were a few times when I had to follow up to get updates on my case. The resolution was favorable, but the process could have been smoother with more proactive communication. While I appreciate his legal expertise, I would have preferred a more personal touch in our interactions. Overall, a solid lawyer, but I expect better responsiveness from my legal representation.
