Competent handling of our small business restructuring

We hired Sarah Myers at Gallagher & Kennedy to assist with restructuring our small family-owned LLC, which was facing significant creditor pressure. Her background in business organizations and the recognition she's received in that area were clear assets; she understood the entity structure immediately and provided solid, technically correct advice on our options. The work product itself was thorough. However, the experience felt somewhat transactional. As a relatively new attorney, she was sometimes difficult to reach directly, with updates often coming from a paralegal after longer-than-expected wait times for responses. While her knowledge of bankruptcy and insolvency principles was evident in our discussions, the strategic guidance felt more by-the-book than creatively tailored to our specific situation in the Tucson market. She capably handled the legal filings, but we had hoped for more proactive communication about the process timeline. For straightforward business legal matters, she is certainly competent, but managing client expectations and accessibility could be improved.
