Knowledgeable but communication could be clearer

I hired Mr. Tran to handle a wrongful termination matter for my small business. His knowledge of employment law is evident, and his recognition in that field was a key factor in my choice. He successfully navigated the initial negotiations with the former employee's counsel. However, the process felt somewhat impersonal. There were occasional delays in email responses, and some of the legal strategies weren't explained as thoroughly as I would have liked for a business owner without a legal background. He achieved a reasonable settlement, which was the primary goal, but the client experience felt more transactional than collaborative.
