A consummate professional who guided me through a complex divorce

Navigating a high-asset divorce with a contentious custody component was the most stressful period of my life. From our initial consultation, Nicole Schmidt’s calm, strategic approach provided immediate reassurance. Her 16 years of focused family law experience, particularly in the Newport Beach courts, was evident in every step. She didn't just react to motions; she anticipated them, crafting a proactive strategy that protected my financial interests and, most importantly, my relationship with my children. As a Certified Family Law Specialist, her deep knowledge of California community property law and child support guidelines was invaluable. She explained complex legal concepts with clarity, never resorting to jargon, and her recognition in family law arbitration proved crucial when we successfully mediated several key issues, saving immense time and emotional cost. The team at Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara supported her seamlessly. While I hope to never need her services again, I am profoundly grateful for her expertise, professionalism, and genuine compassion. The outcome was fair and sustainable, allowing my family to move forward. I cannot recommend Nicole highly enough.
