Michael J. Trotter

Matthew N. Trotter is a partner in the Long Beach Office of Carroll, Kelly, Trotter, Franzen & McKenna. Mr. Trotter’s practice over the last 14 years has focused on professional liability defense, including representations of hospitals, medical groups, physicians, and other healthcare providers. Mr. Trotter has successfully defended numerous professionals against claims of medical malpractice, elder abuse, battery, fraud, and other related claims.Mr. Trotter graduated from Santa Clara University in 1995 with a B.A. in French. He received his J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1998. Mr. Trotter is a member of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel, the Southern California Association for Health Care Risk Management, and the American Bar Association.Mr. Trotter has been a member of the State Bar of California since 1999 and is admitted to practice before the California Superior Court and the Central United States District Court.
