Matt lives in Frederick, Maryland with his wife, two children, and dog. Other than being a father, husband, and lawyer, he greatly enjoys hiking and being outdoors. As a former state prosecutor and volunteer firefighter, he understands the selfless dedication that our public safety officers deliver on a daily basis and strives to deliver this same level of commitment to his clients. Professional ExperienceMatthew graduated from Georgetown University and The George Washington University Law School. After law school, he clerked for the Honorable David Boynton in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County. From there, he joined The State’s Attorney’s Office for Frederick County as an Assistant State’s Attorney, where he investigated and prosecuted hundreds of criminal cases. In 2015, Matthew was hired as an associate attorney with Berman, Sobin & Gross. Since then, he has represented more than a thousand clients in workers’ compensation and personal injury cases. Additionally, he has successfully argued several cases in the Maryland appellate courts winning victories for injured workers across the State. In 2021, he was honored with The National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 recognition.In January 2022, Matthew became a Partner with the Firm.
