I engaged Mark Katz at Davies Ward to handle a complex grievance arbitration for our local union, stemming from a wrongful dismissal during contract negotiations. The written submissions he drafted were comprehensive and persuasive. However, the overall experience was mixed. While the outcome was ultimately satisfactory, there were significant delays in receiving responses to emails, and updates on case progress were infrequent unless I initiated contact. For straightforward union-side matters, his expertise is reliable, but you need to be prepared to manage the communication flow proactively.
