Knowledgeable but communication could be more consistent

Lisette Sell at Davis Wright Tremaine has deep expertise in ERISA and employee benefits law, which is exactly why we engaged her for a complex benefits dispute with a former executive. Her 35 years of experience and recognition in ERISA litigation were evident in her strategic approach. The legal work product was solid. However, our experience was mixed. While she was thorough, communication sometimes lagged, with responses taking longer than expected. At times, we felt slightly out of the loop on procedural steps. She is undoubtedly a competent attorney who knows this niche area inside and out, but the client service aspect felt just adequate for the firm's stature and her recognition.
