I engaged Lin Chan and her team at Lieff Cabraser after discovering my small business had been overpaying for lithium-ion batteries for years due to a suspected industry-wide price-fixing scheme. From our initial consultation, Lin’s command of complex antitrust law was immediately apparent. She patiently explained the nuances of indirect purchaser litigation, drawing directly from her extensive background in this exact field. Her 17 years of experience, particularly her recognized work in antitrust and consumer litigation, gave us immense confidence. The strategy she developed was meticulous, and her negotiation with opposing counsel was both firm and strategically brilliant. We achieved a settlement that far exceeded our initial expectations, providing meaningful restitution. The one area where we occasionally felt slightly out of the loop was during very intense phases of discovery; communication from her direct desk could slow for a day or two, though her associates were always available. Overall, Lin is a formidable attorney whose Stanford-honed legal intellect and proven track record in San Francisco’s competitive legal landscape deliver outstanding results. Her recognition in antitrust and labor litigation is clearly well-deserved.
