Competent but Could Improve Communication

I worked with Kyle D. Kennedy on a complex labor and employment dispute, and while his legal expertise was evident—especially given his recognition by Best Lawyers in these areas—there were some frustrations along the way. His deep experience in litigation and personal injury defense was apparent, particularly in how he navigated the nuances of employment law. However, communication was an issue; responses were often delayed, and updates were not as timely as I would have liked. While he clearly understands the intricacies of managing labor disputes and representing defendants in personal injury cases, the lack of consistent communication made the process feel sluggish at times. I appreciated his strategic approach, especially given his background at a firm like Littler, but I would have liked more transparency throughout. Overall, a solid but not outstanding experience.
