Judy Furth at Stradling Yocca handled the refinancing of our municipal utility district's outstanding bonds. Her technical knowledge in public finance law is evident, and she was clearly familiar with the specific regulatory landscape in California. The legal documents she drafted were thorough, and it's easy to see why she has received recognition in this field. However, our experience was mixed. While the final work product was solid, there were significant delays in receiving updates. Our emails and calls often went unanswered for several business days, which created anxiety as we worked against our board's deadline. When we did connect, her advice was precise and helpful. For straightforward, complex transactional work where you don't need constant hand-holding, Judy's expertise from her seven years of practice is a definite asset. For our team, which needed more proactive communication and status reports, the process felt more stressful than necessary. She is undoubtedly capable, but the client service aspect didn't fully meet our expectations for a firm of this caliber.
