Our company engaged Jose Patino at Cozen O'Connor when we faced a high-stakes patent infringement claim that threatened a core product line. From our initial consultation, it was clear we were dealing with a seasoned professional. Jose's 14 years of experience, particularly his deep focus on intellectual property and commercial disputes in San Diego, gave our leadership team immense confidence. He didn't just understand the legal nuances; he grasped the intricate technical details of our patent portfolio and the commercial pressures we were under. His strategic guidance throughout the litigation was exceptional, and his recognition as a 'Lawyer of the Year' in patent litigation was evident in his courtroom presence and negotiation tactics. We achieved a settlement that protected our product and future market position, a direct result of his diligent preparation and assertive advocacy. The one area where we occasionally felt a slight delay was in receiving non-urgent email responses, as his caseload is clearly substantial. That minor point aside, Jose Patino is a partner who instills calm in a crisis and delivers results. We would not hesitate to recommend him for any company navigating complex IP or commercial litigation.
