Expert guidance on a complex cross-border financing deal

Our company recently engaged in a complex, multi-jurisdictional asset-based financing transaction that required navigating both U.S. and European regulatory frameworks. We were referred to Jill Feldman at Morrison Foerster, and her deep expertise was immediately apparent. With nearly four decades of experience, particularly her focus on international commercial finance, she provided strategic clarity where our in-house team felt overwhelmed. Her recognition in Banking and Finance Law is well-deserved; she anticipated regulatory hurdles we hadn't considered and structured the agreements with remarkable foresight. Her role as Chair of the Financial Transactions Group meant she could seamlessly pull in specialists from other offices as needed. The transaction closed successfully, largely due to her steady hand. If there was one minor critique, it would be that during the most intense negotiation phases, direct responses from her could sometimes take a few hours as she is clearly in high demand, though her team was always responsive. Overall, Jill is a formidable advocate and an invaluable asset for any sophisticated financial transaction. We would not hesitate to work with her again.
