Knowledgeable but communication could be more consistent

Ira Kharasch handled a complex Chapter 11 matter for our small business in Los Angeles. His deep knowledge of bankruptcy litigation and creditor rights, honed over his nine years of practice, was evident. He is clearly recognized in his field for a reason. The legal strategy he developed was sound and ultimately helped us navigate a difficult restructuring. However, the experience was mixed. While his analysis was sharp, we sometimes experienced significant delays in receiving responses to emails, which added to our stress during an already tense period. His billing was precise, but we occasionally felt like just another case file. For straightforward legal expertise in insolvency, he is competent. For those who prioritize frequent, proactive updates and a more personal touch, expectations may need to be managed.
