Harris was appointed in 2018 by the New Jersey Supreme Court to serve on a District Ethics Committee (District XB Ethics Committee), where he is responsible for investigating possible violations of attorney ethics rules. He is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association and The American Association for Justice. He is also able to converse in American Sign Language.
