Invaluable counsel for our startup's acquisition

Claudia Golden at Alston & Bird was instrumental in guiding our Palo Alto-based tech startup through a complex acquisition. Her unique background, having worked inside a technology company, gave her an immediate and practical understanding of our business drivers, which was a huge advantage. She expertly navigated the M&A process, anticipating issues we hadn't even considered. While her billing rates reflect her Harvard Law pedigree and the firm's prestige, which is to be expected, communication response times could occasionally be a day slower than ideal during peak periods. That said, her strategic insight into the private equity aspects of the deal and her recognition in corporate law were clearly evident. We felt thoroughly represented and would confidently recommend her.
