Invaluable counsel for our startup's acquisition

Claudia Golden at Alston & Bird was instrumental in guiding our Palo Alto-based tech startup through a complex acquisition. Her unique background, having worked inside a technology company, gave her an immediate and practical understanding of our business drivers, which was a huge advantage. She expertly navigated the M&A process, anticipating issues we hadn't even considered. While her billing rates reflect her Harvard Law pedigree and the firm's prestige, which is to be expected, communication response times could occasionally be a day slower than ideal during peak periods. That said, her strategic insight into the private equity aspects of the deal and her recognition in corporate law were clearly evident.
