Competent on securities matter, communication could improve

I engaged Christin Hill at Morrison Foerster for guidance on a complex shareholder dispute. Her background in securities litigation was evident; she understood the regulatory nuances immediately and her recognition in that field is well-deserved. The initial strategy she outlined was sound. However, the experience was mixed. While the substantive work was solid, response times were often slower than expected, and updates weren't always proactive. For straightforward legal analysis, she is certainly capable, but the overall client service felt more transactional than collaborative. I achieved an acceptable resolution, but the process required more follow-up on my part than I anticipated for a firm of this caliber.
