Experienced and capable, but communication could improve

Barry Lee is clearly a seasoned litigator with deep expertise in commercial disputes, which was evident when he handled a complex breach of contract case for our firm. His nearly five decades of experience and his recognition in the field, including his recent Lawyer of the Year award, are impressive. He provided sound strategic advice and his knowledge of the courtroom was undeniable. However, for a client, the experience felt somewhat distant. Responses to emails were often delayed by several days, and it was sometimes difficult to get a clear sense of timeline expectations without persistent follow-up. While the legal outcome was satisfactory, the process required more client management on our end than anticipated.
