Richard Reed
Our firm engaged Wyatt Kendall to navigate the intricate environmental and zoning challenges of a former industrial site we were converting into a mixed-use residential and retail development in Atlanta. Wyatt’s deep, 16-year expertise in brownfield redevelopment was immediately apparent. He didn't just recite regulations; he provided a clear, strategic roadmap that addressed both immediate due diligence concerns and long-term liability protection. His advice on structuring the acquisition and negotiating with state agencies was pragmatic and saved us significant time and capital. It’s clear why he’s recognized in environmental law—his knowledge is both broad and precisely detailed. Beyond his technical skill, Wyatt is a consummate professional: responsive, patient in explaining complex issues, and genuinely invested in the project's success. Partnering with him and the team at Morris, Manning & Martin turned a potentially risky venture into a smooth, successful outcome. He is the first attorney we call for any project involving urban renewal.
