A solid, experienced patent attorney with some communication delays

Mr. Boudreaux provided competent counsel for a patent application related to a medical device component. His 34 years of experience and recognition in patent law were evident in the thoroughness of his initial filings. However, the process felt somewhat transactional. Responses to emails often took several days, and there was little proactive communication about next steps or timelines, which created some uncertainty. While the legal work itself was sound and his background from LSU and Barnes & Thornburg is impressive, the client experience felt more adequate than exceptional. For straightforward patent matters where you value deep expertise over hand-holding, he is a reliable choice in Ann Arbor.
