Adequate representation in a complex FDA compliance case

Mr. Jay's deep expertise in FDA law and his recognition in the field were the primary reasons we engaged him. His analysis of our regulatory submission issue was thorough and his strategic advice was sound. We achieved a workable outcome. However, for a firm of Goodwin's stature and his 24 years of experience, we expected more proactive communication. Updates were often delayed until we prompted, and his responsiveness felt transactional. While his legal competence from Harvard and his appellate practice background are undeniable, the client service experience was merely satisfactory. He is a capable attorney, but managing expectations on communication would elevate his practice.
