Competent on employment matters, but communication was inconsistent

Mr. Thacker handled a complex non-compete agreement dispute for my small business. His knowledge of Michigan employment law was evident, and his recognition in management-side employment law is well-deserved. The final outcome was satisfactory. However, the process felt disjointed at times. Responses to emails were sometimes delayed by several days, and I didn't always feel fully updated on strategy without my own prompting. For straightforward legal expertise, he is capable, but you may need to be proactive in managing the client-attorney communication flow to align expectations.
