A capable and experienced defense attorney

I engaged William Davis Frye and his team at Butler Snow to handle a complex commercial dispute for my business. There is no question about his deep expertise; his 28 years of experience and recognition in commercial litigation were evident in his strategic approach to our case. He clearly knows the Mississippi legal landscape inside and out. His background in defending clients across numerous industries gave us confidence. However, our experience was a mixed bag. While the legal outcome was ultimately satisfactory, the day-to-day communication left something to be desired. As the Practice Group Leader of a major group, Mr. Frye was often difficult to reach directly, and we experienced longer-than-expected wait times for updates, which were sometimes relayed through junior associates. For the premium rate, we expected more consistent, senior-level accessibility. He is undoubtedly a skilled litigator who gets results, but the client service aspect felt more transactional than partnership-oriented. If you need a formidable defense attorney and are prepared for a hands-off communication style, he is a solid choice.
