Competent on complex banking matters, but communication could improve

Whitney Mark at Greenberg Traurig handled a complex loan restructuring for my small business. Her knowledge of Banking and Finance Law was evident, and her background in creditor rights from Mitchell Hamline was a definite asset. The legal work itself was solid, and it's clear why she's recognized by Best Lawyers in those areas. However, the experience was somewhat mixed. While the outcome was satisfactory, there were periods where communication was slower than I'd have liked, making it difficult to get updates on the negotiation timeline. My expectations for responsiveness from a firm of this caliber were not fully met. For straightforward, high-stakes financial legal matters in Minneapolis, Whitney is a capable attorney, but be prepared to manage your expectations regarding client communication.
