Weston is a member of the firm’s Estates & Trusts, Fiduciary Services & Risk Management, and Municipal & School Practice Groups.As part of his estates and trusts practice, Weston represents individual and corporate fiduciaries in an array of trust and guardianship matters. He also works closely with his individual clients to formulate estate plans tailored to their specific needs, from asset protection and wealth succession to special needs and long-term care planning, and guides clients through the estate and trust administration process to ensure that plans put in place are effectively realized. As an active practitioner before the Orphans’ Court, Weston represents clients in connection with adjudications of incapacity and appointment of guardians, fiduciary allowances and confirmation of accounts, petitions to show cause, and various litigation matters.In his municipal practice, Weston advises the firm’s municipal and school district clients on matters governed by the Sunshine Act, Right-to-Know Law, PA Heart & Lung Act, and the Municipal Planning Code, and assists in ordinance and policy drafting, tax assessment appeals, zoning and land use approvals, and general litigation matters.
