Competent and knowledgeable, but communication could improve

I hired Wade Davies for a complex white-collar investigation my company was facing. His 19 years of experience and his recognition in the field were evident; he clearly knows Tennessee criminal law inside and out. The initial strategy he developed was solid and his advice during the investigation phase was invaluable. However, the experience was not without its frustrations. There were often significant delays in getting responses to emails, and updates on case developments sometimes felt like they came after the fact rather than proactively. While the outcome was ultimately favorable, the process felt more opaque than I would have preferred from a client-centered attorney. You're getting a capable lawyer, but be prepared to manage your own expectations on communication timelines.
