I engaged Todd Ewan and Fisher Phillips LLP to handle a wrongful termination claim brought against my small business. There is no doubt Todd is an expert in his field. His deep knowledge of Pennsylvania employment law, backed by over three decades of experience and his recognition in management-side labor and employment litigation, was evident. He successfully navigated the administrative hearing and the strategy he outlined was sound. However, the experience was mixed. While his ultimate advice was valuable, there were periods where communication lagged. Responses to emails sometimes took several days, and it was occasionally difficult to get a clear timeline for next steps. For the premium rate, I expected more proactive updates. He is certainly a competent attorney who knows the federal and state court systems inside out, and he achieved a reasonable settlement. But for someone managing the stress of litigation, the process felt more reactive than I had hoped. He is a solid choice for the legal heavy lifting, but be prepared to follow up to stay in the loop.
