Good but Could Improve Communication

I hired Mr. Shelby for a complex commercial litigation case, and he handled the legal aspects competently. His background from Harvard and recognition in Best Lawyers in America gave me confidence in his expertise. However, I found the communication to be a bit slow at times, and follow-ups required more effort than expected. The wait times for responses were occasionally longer than I anticipated, but the case was resolved favorably. He’s clearly skilled, but the experience could have been smoother with more timely updates. Overall, a solid attorney, but I hope future clients receive more proactive communication.
