Mr. Goetz handled the competition law aspects of our recent acquisition. His analysis of the potential regulatory hurdles was thorough and his background at Skadden was evident. He was recognized for his work in this area, which gave us confidence. However, the experience was mixed. While his legal work was solid, we sometimes experienced delays in receiving responses to our follow-up questions, which created some anxiety during tight deadlines. For a straightforward antitrust matter, he is certainly capable, but the client service aspect felt more transactional than collaborative. We achieved the necessary clearance, but the process could have been smoother.
