Skilled and pragmatic counsel for complex real estate litigation

Our company engaged Trey Oliver to handle a contentious land use and zoning dispute that threatened to derail a significant commercial development project in Birmingham. From the outset, Trey's deep understanding of both the legal and practical aspects of real estate and environmental regulations was evident. His background in complex commercial and construction litigation, coupled with the recognition he's received in these fields, gave us great confidence. He didn't just litigate; he developed a creative and pragmatic strategy that considered our business timeline and goals, ultimately negotiating a favorable settlement that preserved the project's core value. His advice was always clear, cutting through the legal complexity to give us actionable options. While we were very pleased with the outcome, there were a few instances where communication response times lagged slightly during particularly busy periods, which is our only note for improvement. Overall, Trey is a sharp, effective attorney at Bradley Arant who delivers results. We would not hesitate to recommend him for challenging matters involving real estate, land use, or environmental issues.
