Experienced and competent, but communication was a challenge

Mr. Keene represented me in a complex medical malpractice defense case. His 50+ years of experience and his recognition by Best Lawyers were evident in his deep understanding of the law and his strategic approach in court. He is clearly a knowledgeable attorney in Montgomery. However, the process felt somewhat impersonal. Responses to emails were often delayed, and it was sometimes difficult to get a clear timeline for next steps. While I was satisfied with the legal outcome, the overall client experience felt more transactional than collaborative. He is undeniably skilled, but managing client expectations could be improved.
