Invaluable Guidance Through Complex Chemical Regulatory Compliance

Our company, a mid-sized plastics manufacturer, faced a daunting compliance challenge with a new EPA rule affecting a key polymer additive. The regulatory landscape was a minefield of technical and legal nuances. We engaged Tom Berger at Keller and Heckman, and it was the best decision we could have made. From our first consultation, Tom’s deep, three-decade understanding of the chemicals and plastics industries was immediately apparent. He didn't just recite regulations; he explained the practical implications for our specific supply chain and production process. His background, including his recognized focus in chemical control law, gave us immense confidence. Tom and his team meticulously navigated the administrative procedures, prepared a robust technical and legal justification for our submission, and communicated effectively with the agency on our behalf. The result was a favorable determination that allowed us to continue operations without costly reformulation. Throughout the entire process, Tom was exceptionally responsive, professional, and strategic. He has a rare ability to distill complex regulatory concepts into actionable business advice. For any company operating in the chemical, plastics, or electronics sectors facing regulatory or environmental law issues in Washington, D.C., I cannot recommend Thomas Berger more highly.
