Thomas Hall concentrates his practice on construction litigation and arbitration, representing owners, general contractors, design professionals, subcontractors, and suppliers on a variety of commercial and residential construction projects. Drawing on his deep knowledge of Tennessee’s construction laws, he advises clients on contract negotiations and regulatory compliance. He also prosecutes and defends clients in a range of disputes, including those involving construction defects, warranty claims, liens, and project delays and disruptions. A Fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America, Thomas also serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater Tennessee Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors and on the executive committees of both the Tennessee Association of Construction Counsel and the Tennessee Bar Association's Construction Law Section.Before joining the firm, Thomas represented clients in complex construction litigation matters at a prominent construction law firm in Nashville. During law school, he served as a Judicial Extern and Judicial Intern for The Honorable Jennifer H. Henderson of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Alabama. He was also a Judicial Intern for The Honorable L. Scott Coogler of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama and was elected President of the School of Law’s chapter of the American Constitution Society.Thomas earned his Juris Doctor, Master of Business Administration, and Master of Laws in Taxation magna cum laude from the University of Alabama School of Law. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Sewanee, where he graduated cum laude.In his free time, Thomas enjoys being with his family, providing pro bono legal services and attending high school football games at his alma mater, Franklin High School.
