A tenacious and compassionate advocate after a workplace tragedy

Following the devastating loss of my husband due to a chemical exposure incident at his plant, our family was lost. We were referred to Tope Leyimu at Motley Rice, and it was the best decision we could have made. From our first meeting in Mount Pleasant, Tope demonstrated a profound understanding of the complex intersection of occupational hazards and corporate accountability. Her background in mass tort and product liability litigation was immediately evident; she explained the legal landscape with clarity but never lost sight of the human story at the center. Tope and her team conducted a meticulous investigation, uncovering a pattern of negligence that was both shocking and critical to our case. Her recognition in plaintiffs' litigation is clearly well-earned. Throughout the entire, arduous process, Tope was our steady guide—professionally relentless with the opposing counsel, yet personally compassionate and accessible to us. She secured a settlement that provides genuine security for our family's future and, just as importantly, ensured the responsible parties were held accountable. We are forever grateful for her expertise, dedication, and unwavering support.
