Competent and recognized, but communication could improve

Tara Daub at Nixon Peabody handled a complex employee handbook review for our small business. Her knowledge of employment law management is evident, and her recent Lawyer of the Year recognition is well-deserved. The final work product was thorough. However, the process felt somewhat impersonal. Responses to emails were sometimes delayed by several days, which created uncertainty during our tight timeline. While her legal expertise from Dickinson Law is solid, managing client expectations on turnaround times could be better. She resolved our issue competently, but the overall experience was just satisfactory.
