Competent and experienced, but communication could improve

I hired Tamara Moreland from Larkin Hoffman to assist with a complex land use dispute involving a commercial property I was developing in Minneapolis. Her deep experience, spanning nearly three decades, was evident. She clearly knows the intricacies of zoning law and litigation, which gave me confidence. Her background in handling environmental and construction-related issues was directly relevant to my case, and the outcome was ultimately satisfactory. However, for a 3-star rating, I have to note that the process felt somewhat transactional. There were periods where communication was slower than I would have liked, making it difficult to get timely updates on procedural steps. While her legal expertise is solid—and the professional recognitions in real estate litigation are well-earned—managing client expectations on responsiveness could be better. She is a capable attorney who gets the job done, but the client experience felt just adequate.
