Competent appellate work, but communication could improve

Attorney Kelber handled my commercial contract appeal with professionalism. Her background from Northwestern and recognition in appellate practice were evident in the quality of the briefs filed. She clearly knows the law. However, the process felt somewhat distant. Responses to emails often took several days, and I sometimes had to follow up for basic updates. While the legal outcome was satisfactory, managing client expectations around timelines and communication seemed like a secondary priority. For straightforward appellate matters, she is certainly capable, but you may need to be proactive in staying informed.
