Competent but communication could be more consistent

Suzette Smith handled my complex divorce and child custody case. Her 36 years of experience in Louisiana family law were evident, and her recognition in the field is well-deserved. She was thorough with the legal strategy, especially regarding the division of our marital property and drafting the parenting plan. However, the experience was mixed. While her legal advice was sound, there were often significant delays in getting responses to emails, and I sometimes felt I had to follow up multiple times for updates. The outcome was fair, but the process felt more stressful than it needed to be due to these communication gaps.
