Skillful but missed expectations

Attorney Susan M. Zoeller was very knowledgeable in employment law, particularly in labor and employment disputes, which was exactly what I needed. Her extensive experience, including recognition by Best Lawyers in employment law management, gave me confidence in her ability to handle my case. She was thorough in her analysis of my non-compete agreement dispute and provided sound legal advice. However, I found the communication a bit slower than I would have liked—responses to emails and calls were often delayed, which added some unnecessary stress to an already challenging situation. Additionally, while her expertise was clear, the fee structure could have been more transparent upfront. The resolution was fair, but I had to be more proactive in following up to keep things moving. Overall, a competent attorney, but I expected more responsiveness and clarity in billing. Would consider her again for employment law matters, but with more explicit expectations set in advance.
