I engaged Stuart Pachman of Brach Eichler to assist with the formation and structuring of a new family-owned business in New Jersey. There is no question about his deep expertise; his 64 years of experience and his authorship of Title 14A Corporations were immediately apparent in his strategic advice. He is clearly an authority, and his guidance on corporate governance was sound. However, the experience was mixed. While the final work product was competent, communication was often slower than expected. Responses to emails could take several days, and there were instances where I had to follow up to get clarity on next steps. For straightforward corporate matters, his knowledge is formidable, but be prepared to manage expectations regarding responsiveness. He delivered a solid foundation for our company, though the process required more proactive follow-up on my part than I had anticipated.
