I engaged Steven Haas at Cozen O'Connor to assist with the sale of my small manufacturing business in the Philadelphia area. His background in corporate law, including his recognition by Best Lawyers, was evident in the thoroughness of the transaction documents and his grasp of the deal's complexities. He clearly knows his field, having practiced since graduating from Temple in the 80s. However, my experience was mixed. While the legal work was competent, there were often significant delays in receiving responses to emails, which added stress during time-sensitive negotiations. At times, I felt like I had to follow up repeatedly to get updates, making the process feel less seamless than I had hoped. For straightforward corporate matters, his expertise is reliable, but be prepared to manage the communication flow proactively. The outcome was satisfactory, but the client experience felt merely adequate.
