Competent handling of a complex medical malpractice case

Mr. Riley represented me in a difficult medical malpractice case following a surgical error. His deep experience in this area, evidenced by his professional recognition, was clear in his strategic approach and understanding of the medical complexities. The case was resolved with a satisfactory outcome. However, communication was sometimes inconsistent; there were periods where updates were infrequent, and responses to emails could take several days. While I never doubted his legal acumen or commitment to the case, managing expectations around timelines and client contact could be improved. For someone with his expertise and 17 years in practice, I expected a slightly more streamlined client experience alongside the strong legal work.
