Competent but room for improvement

I sought out Stephen Weissman for a complex antitrust matter in D.C., and while his expertise in the field was evident—especially given his recognition by Best Lawyers in Antitrust Law—I found the experience somewhat mixed. His depth in litigation and antitrust matters was clear, reflecting his years of practice, but I felt the communication could have been more proactive. There were delays in responses to emails, and while the outcomes were solid, the process felt less streamlined than I’d hoped for a lawyer at his level. The final resolution was favorable, but the journey there wasn’t as seamless as I’d anticipated. For a general practice attorney with his background, I expected a bit more personal attention. If you’re looking for someone well-versed in antitrust litigation, he’s certainly qualified, but be prepared for a more traditional, less hands-on approach.
