Spencer Ritchie at Bradley Arant handled a contentious commercial litigation matter for my small business in Jackson. His background in this area was evident, and his firm's resources were a definite asset during the discovery phase. The case involved nuanced contract interpretation, and Spencer's analytical approach was solid. He is clearly a sharp litigator, and his recognition in commercial litigation seems well-founded. However, the experience was not without its frustrations. Communication was sometimes slower than I would have preferred, with responses taking a day or two during critical periods. While the legal strategy was sound, I occasionally felt like a lower priority on his docket, and some of the procedural explanations were more technical than practical for a business owner. The outcome was ultimately favorable, which is the most important thing. For straightforward, competent legal work, Spencer gets the job done, but managing client expectations around accessibility could be improved.
