Spencer Ritchie is a litigator with substantial experience in general and appellate litigation who also focuses on political law compliance and political advocacy. Following law school, Spencer clerked for both a federal district court judge (Eastern District of Texas) and a federal appellate court judge (Fifth Circuit). Spencer also has an extensive background in federal, state, and local politics, having worked for a U.S.
congressman and U.S. senator, as executive director of a state political party, and as the current treasurer for the Mississippi Republican Party and chairman of the Hinds County Republican Party.Spencer’s work in the political arena includes representation of businesses, trade associations, political action committees, nonprofits, candidates for public office, and other individuals and entities involved in the political process.
