When my husband suffered a catastrophic injury while working on a vessel in the Mississippi River, our world was turned upside down. The complexities of maritime law were completely overwhelming. From our first consultation, Soren Gisleson was a steady, knowledgeable presence. His 26 years of experience, particularly his deep understanding of admiralty law, were immediately evident. He didn't just see a case file; he understood the human impact and the intricate legal framework of the Jones Act. Soren and his team at Herman, Herman & Katz meticulously investigated the incident, leaving no stone unturned. His recognition in both personal injury and mass tort litigation wasn't just a line on a profile—it translated into a strategic, formidable approach that the defense respected. Throughout the entire, lengthy process, Soren was accessible, explained every step in clear terms, and managed our expectations honestly. His philosophy background from Colorado, I believe, gave him a unique ability to analyze problems from every angle. The settlement he secured was beyond what we ever imagined possible, providing true long-term security for my husband's care and our family's future. We are forever grateful for his exceptional professionalism, expertise, and compassion.
